and what would your preferred candidate have done differently in view of realities on ground? Talk is cheap

At least starting by taking 1000 people to Climate Change. conference in Dubai with Toke Makinwa as Item 7.

Using 500m as a fess payment to 37 people to negotiate for minimum wage

Cutting off subsidy with no palliative. No CNG Buses, No Food security etc

Spending 2 weeks in France doing nothing while the economy of the nation is tanking.

This is what Peter Obi will do

So you want the government to just release food, without arranging logistics, planning, who would transport the food, how people are to be paid for transporting the food, how the thing is to be organised, who is going to be the set man or woman at point A and B, etc etc...

I no like this government, but some things need to be organised first, before food is released, or you want disorganisation, and the possiblity of mass theft, eh?

who are they "releasing" the 60,000 metric tonnes of food grains to?

is it in the same way palliatives have been "released"?

Are the grains released smuggled out of the country? There is no verifiable proof that the grains released have an economic impact on the price of grains.
Hmmm, like someone even asked in a comment above yours, that 'from where' precisely, as in where are these reserves located, they've released or they're releasing and we ain't seeing nada out there!

That's commendable , may God take absolute control and ease our affairs.

Shut your stupid bigoted mouth and ask questions like a goddamn educated folk. Last I checked Nigeria has no functioning reserve so where is the 600000 grains coming from. How is it gonna be distributed to ensure the vulnerable get it cos we all know how govt corruption works. This is coming clearly propaganda and I assure you nothing will be heard in a month from now
Re: FG Set To Release 60,000 Metric Tonnes Of Food Grains To Stabilise Prices by Chickensoup: 8:15am On Feb 21
This is just stupid. Farmers have been attacked multiple times by herdsmen but the government didn't do anything now you are saying you want to release grain. Na only grain we go chop. How will it make fish, meat, and other non-grain foods cheaper. Is the grain free or people will have to buy from government.

The issue isn't that there is no food. There is food but it's too expensive and that is because of the exchange rate. The fuel price went up so will food price go up. Releasing grain changes nothing. That's how they said palliatives and a lot of people started praising the government now show me what the palliatives have done for us.

They should work hard to end insecurity especially in the middle belt, that way farmers would not have fear to go farming, if this coud be done then large quantity of food would be available for consumption and there will be a reduction of price to an understandable level.
