Our company, BIOMEDICAL LIMITED, one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturing companies based in Ilorin, Kwara state seeks applications from suitable, qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacancies below;

a. FACTORY MANAGER/ SUPERINTENDENT PHARMACIST
The Role:
1. Responsible for day-to-day running of the factory in all aspects and revising and assuring targets are met.
2. Ensures implementation of company quality management system to effect current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
3. Ensures optimum capacity utilization in the plant.
4. Manufacturing and material usage
5. Authorizes products manufacture.
6. Ensures that on job training and development of personnel is conducted as planned
7. Responsible for registering the company premises and carries out regulation as contained in the chapter 152 of the Pharmacy Law and ensures annual license for Pharmacists are in current status
8. Ensure good communication with all departments to enhance productivity.
9. Regularly liaise with Health Authorities and advises Management accordingly
10. Responsible for Registration of all company’s products with Regulatory Authorities.
11. Liaise with bodies such as the Pharmaceutical Group of the Manufacturers, Association of Nigeria (PMGMAN), National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), and Federal and State Ministries of Health.
12. Attend to product registration, product licenses & relevant regulatory Matters.
13. Carry out other function(s) within or outside the factory as may be assigned by management.
14. Report directly to the Executive Director

Requirements;
 The candidate must be 40 years and above
 Must possess B.pharm with valid PCN Practicing license.
 Must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical production line
 Adequate knowledge of all the products line formulations and production including syrup, Infusions, tableting and other pharmaceutical products.
 Adequate Knowledge of products dozier preparations.

b. Production Pharmacists:
B.Pharm with current PCN annual Practicing License plus a minimum of 2 years post NYSC.


c. WATER TREATMENT PROCESS ENGINEER:
THE ROLE:
1. Ability to Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
2. Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
3. Prepare clear and concise reports.
4. Recognize unusual, inefficient, or dangerous operating conditions and take appropriate action.
5. Accurately read, interpret and record data from gauges, meters, read and interpret schematic drawings, showing plant piping, alarms, mechanical, electrical controls, valves, and related instrumentation.
6. Observe, inspect, analyze system equipment and facilities, and compile, evaluate and analyze operational data and information and recommend or take appropriate actions.
7. He /she must have good knowledge of cGMP.


REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in water filtration, water purification and water distillation in a must and previous experience in infusion factory is an additional advantage.
• Applicant must have previous experience in operating softener plant, DM plant, Reverse Osmosis and Multi column distillation plant.
• Must be a graduate of Chemical Engineering with not less than 3 years’ experience.


d. SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS;

• The ideal candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry OR business administration, accounting, or related field with a Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a procurement officer or related position.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Accurate and precise attention to details
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
• Ensure that the products and supplies are of high quality.

e. TECHNICIANS:

Requirements;

• The ideal candidate must hold a Certificate in either Trade Test I or OND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least a Three (3) years’ experience performing similar functions in a medium Pharmaceutical Company.
• Applicant must have previous knowledge Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
• Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals.
• Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
• Writing reports,
• Understand safety regulations, and should be able to execute equipment preventative maintenance.
• Applicant should also be able to Repair and replace faulty equipment components.
• Applicant should be able to multitask and liaise with professionals in different fields.
• Applicant should be able to explain problems simply and clearly.
• Applicant should have knowledge of cGMP and health and safety regulations.
• He/She must have Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS office package is an advantage
