Northern states are well represented. The only surprise is Katsina State being surpassed by Adamawa.

Lagos has done it again!

The benefits of the internet is so numerous that any society not actively deploying it is left behind in this global village economy.

This data perhaps explains why fake news is more prevalent in those regions in those regions of Nigeria with poor internet use to investigate and confirm if what they heard or shared with them as 'news' is true or false.

But for Rivers state, the whole of the defunct old Eastern region of Nigeria would have been completely missing on the list of top 10. Delta used to be substantially part of old Western region and later part of Mid-west.

I am profoundly proud of the Southwest in terms of how it is increasing its use of ICT and the state Governors must do more. I am not surprised about Kano, they are to the North what Lagos is to the whole of West Africa. Katsina is the one that pleasantly surprised me. This is one of those great times you get good news from Katsina.

How reliable is the source of this information?

It is very strange that no single state from southeast Nigeria made the top 10 states with internet users.

Southwest = 3 (Lagos, Ogun, Oyo)
Northwest = 3 (Kano, Kaduna, Katsina)
Southsouth = 2 (Rivers, Delta)
Northcentral = 1 (FCT)
Northeast =1 (Adamawa)

I don’t trust this list, adamawa and katsina was sneaked into this list, nothing literally happens in those two states. For the fact that it was posted by the Nigerian bureau of statistics already shows there is a problem. One was posted some other time, Adamawa and Katsina did not feature

That confirms some suspicions.

South westerners and northerners using the internet and abusing the presidency and Nigeria with Igbo names.

Except the data is incorrect, how can a small number of people who rarely use the internet be causing lots of trouble and pains to the presidency and fake patriots?

Most of those people who criticise Tinubu and Buhari might actually be from Katsina, Lagos Ogun and masquerading as Igbos.
