President Tinubu Scraps EFCC, ICPC, NCDC, NCC,NTA, Several Others over Oronsaye report
President Tinubu has ordered the immediate scrapping of many agencies in full implementation of the Oronsaye report.
President Bola Tinubu on Monday, February 26, ordered the implementation of the Stephen Oronsaye panel’s report on the reform of the civil service, in this report, Goldmynetv recalls the recommendations of the committee as regards the abolition, reduction, merger, and revision of some MDAs.
A lot has been said about Steve Oronsaye’s report.
The civil service plays a vital role in the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation as well as the sustenance of governance objectives and goals.
Over the years, several committees have been set up by successive administrations towards reducing the number of federal government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) but to no avail.
A lot too, has been said about the report on the 2014 National Conference but not much has been said on the 1999 Ahmed Joda’s Report on Streamlining and Rationalisation of Poverty Alleviation Institutions and Agencies. Ahmed Joda’s Report is equally as important as Steve Oronsaye’s Report.
The Ahmed Joda’s Panel was set up in June 1999 by former President Olusegun Obasanjo. The Panel was charged with the responsibility of reviewing the factors responsible for the ineffective and inefficient performance of the existing establishments.
The 2014 National Conference was inaugurated by former President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan

He is not scrapping it,he can only merge it with ICPC.

So the federal civil service will be carrying out redundancy because if they are still going to retain the same number of employees in those merged ministries what then are they cutting down ?

EFCC should be scrapped with Immediate effect. That office has become useless. We already have “The Nigeria Police Special Fraud Unit”, then what’s the introduction of EFCC again ? All these are duplicates department. Waste of government funds and resources.

The EFCC is not even doing its job. Instead of arresting the politicians plundering this country , they rather use the federal government money to chase after “Yahoo boys”. Yahoo boy who never defrauded a Nigerian. So, is EFCC setup to help Americans or foreigners curtail fraud in Nigeria? So EFCC is raiding Nigerians for a victim of fraud in America ? EFCC now Using state funds to facilitate their midnight hotels burgling, hotels bursts even while couples are naked, for a victim in America. Proceeds of funds recovered are never remitted.

We have not seen any high profile arrest from politicians except its time to use them as tools. The Nigeria Police Special Fraud Unit is enough. Enough of the oppression on my youth. Enough of EFCC. Scrap it
