CAC does not have any control over the names you chose for your company,

You can choose to call your company 'My wife is a b*tch ltd,' and you would still get registered.
Very True..it only shows our mindset as a people...everything na cruise to us, we no dey take anything serious

Why can’t they name it Cardoso ltd

DEM never register during CARDOSO time, na EMEFIELE and hin predecessor names dem suppose put. NA Cardoso era dey expose the rots allowed by previous CBN governors.

TO THE THREAD, the registered names already suggested they were out for crook dealings and wouldn't want sh!t linked to them.

Those were names registered, hurriedly, to get CAC documents and get BDC applications submitted to CBN.
Even if nearly all the names have been used in CAC portal, which one is Rice and Beans? Deep Freezer.

I don’t think those Abokis know the meaning of the names of their companies until after registration.

CBN needs to dig deeper to know who these companies act as fronts for.

We too dey joke in this country.
