NEWLY INAUGURATED CARETAKER COMMITTEE RECEIVES OFFICIAL HANDOVER

The newly inaugurated Caretaker Committee of the New Auto Spare Parts Market, Nkpor led by the Chairman, Chief Stephen Obiorah Ofoleh (Award) has formally received proper handover of the market's properties and documents from the immediate past executives of the market.

This was done in a handover cum reconciliatory meeting between the new and outgone executives held at the market's hall on Thursday, 29th February, 2024

Speaking during the handover, the immediate past Chairman, Chief Elisius Umeozor, Secretary, Ide Uchenna Malobi PhD and Financial Secretary, Amb. Alex Orji, in their separate speeches congratulated the new Caretaker Committee, charging them to be focused and not to allow any form of distraction to disrupt their plans for the market and traders. They all pledged to always cooperate with, and assist the new Caretaker Committee in all their activities to ensure smooth running of their various offices.

Ide Malobi added that he among other members of the market are witnesses to the transformation currently going on in the market including; fixing of solar powered lights all over the market, rehabilitation of toilets facility, maintaining neatness and orderliness across the market, and others. He encouraged the new Caretaker Committee to keep up with the good work, describing their agenda as progressive and transformative.

In his reaction on behalf of the new Caretaker Committee, the Chairman, Chief Obiorah Ofoleh thanked the outgone executives for all the effort they put in leading the market in the last eight years and appreciated them for complying with today's peaceful handover meeting as agreed. He noted that his administration is a progressive one and surely, everyone will be carried along.

Chief Ofoleh who expressed passion to service ceased the opportunity to highlight his set out plans for the market which some of them have already started rolling out within three weeks in office, and reiterated on his goal, which is to make New Auto Spare Parts Market, Nkpor the best market in Anambra State. He assured that his administration will work with good opinions and suggestions from the members on how to move the market forward.
