the two parties are to blame!while it is wrong for nff to place him on same old salary in the new contract,it is equally wrong for the coach to ask for more than double of his present salary!!
Re: Super Eagles: Why Jose Peseiro, NFF Parted Ways by TOPCRUISE(m): 6:16pm On Mar 02
The same reason they parted ways with Ghernot Rhor. They just don't want to say it's because of salary.

"NFF offered to pay him $50,000” but if it is an indigenous coach now, I doubt if he will get such na offer. An equally well paid indigenous coach can do better.

My fear with local coaches is that they work with fear and favor. He who pays the piper dictates the tune. A foreign coach can never be intimidated by anyone.
They also intimidated peseiro too

Local coach will go for a player in turkey israel Denmark or Cyprus when we have a quality player in same position in Laliga, serie A, or premier league.
Local coach don't think outside the box. If 4-4-2 formation did not work, he will still stay on to that 4-4-2 rather than switching to 5-3-2, 5-4-1 or 4-3-3, or other creative formation till they sack him and will be blaming the players.
When it's time to defend that is when they will tell their players to attack.
That is why I don't want them.

$120,000 for that kind of tactics he is using to coach SE. I will agree with NFF decision to let him go. For him mind, he will be thinking that he was the one that made SE to get to final of nation cup unknown to him that it was just luck. Any country that will buy him just want to waste their money.

But the truth is Amunike can do better if given the free hand

But, why do we change payment terms and currency when it comes to an indigenous coach?
Is it colonial complexity, or mere negroid wickedness?

How many times do super eagles play matches in a month that he will be paid that kind of money monthly?
In a year, super eagles may not play more than 5times and he will still be paid for the months which he did nothing

of course, as a woman, the only thing you know and have knowledge of is what you see in front of you, not to talk of football that is not even your area of interest. Abeg shift one side...

Who agreed to pay that dullard 50,000 USD in the first place. His worth is 5,000usd. That kick and follow coach, he couldn't read matches to know 5hat his predictability caused our defeat to Ivory Coast.

He is not a coach, after our nearmiss with South Africa one would expect our normal free follow football and frustrate the opponent with possession and use of wing to open up the opponents and give Oshimhe goal chances and pull opponents to more defensive play.

Useless coach.

Are we not supposed to close the border against foreign coaches too?
Why only food and other items that makes life bearable for the masses at a cheaper price?

If $1 = N1 by patronizing Nigerian products as they've always made us to believe, we can even afford pep guadiola as the coach of Kano pillars

Good riddance to the average foreign manager. Portuguese coaches/managers are specialists in defensive football but we play attacking football and we are blessed with gifted players. However, this tackles and uninspiring coach cost us the final

Although the man messed up in the final where he did not make changes early enough & take out a clearly tired Ola Aina who was at fault for the second goal ,he can only work with the quality of players he has in the current Eagles squad. The 120k is well deserved.
