it's a common thing in rural areas....when I was serving in Ekiti before you see any main bank you have to travel to ado-ekiti, there was only one bank in otun-ekiti back then, unity bank I think....kogi state is even worse from iyamoye to kabba... No banks, you'll have to travel to kabba b4 seeing a major bank..... There were banks before oh but it has been robbed

1) Blood-money begins from sweat because sweat is blood so when people work for you and you do not pay them having "gained" from the work they did for you then you have just gotten blood-money. Don't owe your workers!

2) The other side of it is when someone pay you to do a job for them; tailors, mechanics, furniture, 'suppliers' etc, and you refuse to do the job or return the money paid to you in whole as given to you then you have gotten blood-money too.

3) Another common blood-money is when you see something that will harm the other person and because of money you did not warn them or raise alarm you have blood-money too.

4) Anything you do to another person that causes them to lose money against their wish and it's for your own gain is blood-money.
