Two women fighting over a queue is economic hardship? People were not using ATM before APC got into power? You need cane

I can still recall the time back in 2005 when I saw a vicious fight in a banking hall queue....

Good times.

The economy is really biting hard on Nigerians. People easily get irritated these days. Watch the moment two women fight at Fidelity Bank ATM in Enugu.

The woman on yellow top was on the queue but decided to enter the banking hall to resolve an issue. When she came out, she was not allowed to join the queue as she was told by the other woman to go and start afresh. She didn't take it lightly and they started fighting. The security personnel was rough handled in the process.

1.If Obi and Atiku had sorted out their differences, or if ATIKU SELF had stepped down for obi or vice versa, tinubu won't have been ruling us now

Nothing like sorting differences here!
It was the turn of the south to lead but Atiku who is from the north still insisted on being d flagbearer and obi left to actualize his ambition!
I guess the pdp as always underestimated his political capacity.....if not they would not have allowed him to leave!
Even if Obi had remained in pdp, they would have still lost because it was the turn of a southern president and most south east or south south votes will automatically go to apc or nobody will come out to vote dat day!

nairalanda1:

2.By August 2022, we were using 90% of our revenue to pay for debts. We were even still taking loans, and we were massively paying for subsides, including on fuel and on keeping a 'strong' naira. Whoever took over in 2023, times were going to be hard.

Everyone knew that it wasn't going to be easy with recklessness of the past administration but the present administration continued with the same mode of recklessness!
Today, there are no seeming moves to ensure stable electricity
No plan in sight to curb insecurity
None of the Refineries including that of dangote is functioning hence transport cost is at an all time high
No single production of even food products have started
There is nothing you can sincerely say that this administration has done to ameliorate the suffering of the citizens

nairalanda1:

3.Yes, Tinubu is not making the right decisions, but the truth is, if we voted someone who made the right decisions from the word go, it would still take time before we see any reforms kick in. Then there is the fact that most Nigerians do not want the right decisions because it means more suffering

With the cutting of cost of governance, the immediate implementation of the oransanya report and possibly decentralization of sectors in the exclusive list esp resource control and security, changes would have been visible!
In fairness to Nigerians,we have endured and suffered enough....some advanced countries by now would have been at war for less!

nairalanda1:

Take note...I don't support any APCPDP or even Obi. The problem with the Nigerian economy is that it is dependent on the price of whatever commodity we sell. That is why it never does well, even when 'times are good'.
The first problem with Nigeria is our falling constitution
Second is insecurity
Our third problem is the inability of government to make the environment conducive for businesses to thrive!

It does not matter what measures you think government should have taken, things were going to be hard. Even if no one had said subsidy should go for example, our massive debt servicing would have forced the issue

Like I said , our economy is bad because it depends on the price of oil. Corruption and wasteful government spending are symptoms , not the cause.

If you don't have a government that is prepared to wean us off oil, nothing is going to change.

Doesn't mean. Women are not a monolith

Plus, did voting Angela Merkel as chancellor of Germany mean German men all hate their fellow men, or German women all suddenly loved and supported each other, especially as many of them did not vote for Angela?

Politics is far more complicated than you think

This is not economic hardship.
This is bad human character.

How can you go inside the banking hall, and try to rejoin the queue in the middle if you are not an insane person?

We all know Nigerians lacks protocol orientation!

Thank you for calling it exactly what it is.

But, she could have still joined the queue if she had informed the person behind her.

This is not new to those who I've been in a situation where they will have to leave the queue for one reason or another. Just simply tell the person behind you that you'd be back so the person will stand as a witness.

Generally, most Nigeriand lack patience. I see this every day on the road.
