A flesh wound to the upper arm shouldn't have led to his death if his fool*ish workers knew what to do.

Sad.

The real story is this:

how is it that Nigeria cannot boast of trauma centres to deal with GSW?

I fail to understand how a few Fulani
herdsmen from far north can come and
be disturbing and killing farmers in the
deep south and the leaders and people
seem powerless..

They should go to the east and ask the
Igbos how they've chased Fulani herdsmen
from their region..

The only thing Fulani respect and understand
is violence and force. So long as you are
begging them for peace, you'll never
have peace.

The life of their cow is more valuable than
the life of an industrious hardworking
farmer ❗️❗️❗️😐😐😐😐

Oga, you people should stop making every post on Nairaland about the Igbos.

FYI, Fulani herdsmen are still disturbing farmers in Igbo land today, especially in Isi-Uzo in Enugu State.

This kind of Trauma would not survive anywhere in the world. He tore his subclavian, his heart would empty in 2-3 minutes.
But you make a good point. Even the PHCs aren't even equipped to perform ACLS.

Advantage of ESN

Leave esn, they have never done anything apart from their propaganda like emilokan. Villages in d east are protecting their farm lands just like my village is doing.
Why can't they stop the fulani madness especially in nsuka n some PARTS of ebonyi. We dat chop dem raw anywhere close to my community

[quote author=malali post=128898604][color=#990000][b]He was shot at point blank range. Either he shot himself accidentally or there was a struggle to collect the gun from him.
The gun was literally on his hand when it was fired judging by the exit wound.
He emptied the blood in his heart. He was fully dead in less than 2-3 minutes

Is there half dead?
Or partially dead?

How does a person manhandle a “long barrel gun” that it fires and hits him almost near his armpit? Perhaps, we’re looking at a Dane gun as We’re not talking about a 12 gauge shotgun from the picture of the wound. I’m trying to ascertain which hand he used in holding the rifle, which hand held the trigger and how the muzzle got close to the armpit while his finger was on the trigger. Something isn’t adding up.

This was never an accidental sh.it
He was shot thats all

If the wound on his right hand is the only bullet wound on his body, what the workers said seems to be true.

But having a clash with herdsmen while having Hausa or Fulanis as his employees sounds complicated.

May his soul rest in peace.

Fulanis are devils. I witnessed something in the year 2007. One maize farmer suffered losses for many years as cows fed on his crops. There would be no cow in the farm in the day time. But when you visit the farm early morning, you will notice that cows invaded the farm at night. One night, he and his boys kept a watch on the farm and arrested more than 10 Fulani cows before the next morning. The chairman of Fulanis in the area came and bailed the cows the next morning. Tell me why the Fulanis choose to parade and feed their cows in the midnight.

ESN should resume their security activities.
How can ESN resume duty when the Nigerian army keeps attacking their camps. The army won't protect the farmers, won't protect citizens in the North but will station in the south east in the name of stopping IPOB.

You don't have to be point blank to receive such damage from bullet. It's an assault rifle not a pistol.

The fulanis are taken over delta state as a whole, the government and the community leaders are not doing anything about it.This is how Benue state lost all to fulani group.

in the news, fulani herdsmen keep wrecking havoc in the east but we rarely see in news that they were caught
are they now invincible

Another farmer killed by Fulani herdsmen terrorists. Why wouldn't you suffer hunger? Let everyone shout it louder, state police, local council police! The national assembly members should act fast.

exactly the comment I was looking for. The wound there doesn't look like accidental discharge by the guy

Kai, a tourniquet possibly would have saved this mans life. Basic first aid training is necessary and should be taught in schools.
