The era of political and economic sanction is fast losing it effectiveness. The world today as we know it is now so integrated and connected to every country. An economic sanction to any country will find a way to bite back.

Look at Russia for example. The inflation and hardship is caused by sanction on Russia.

Countries like uk and canada are facing economic hardship.

Inflation in us after the Ukraine war. My American hosting price have doubled since that war started.

The 3 ecowas country sanction also affect the region.

The world is more interdependent than we all think and know.
America is always going after China, and they both need each other equally
The world ganged up against Russia, now a lot of other people are still buying energy from Russia
Palestine was thought to be a pushover, small Houthis have disrupted the supply chain all over the world.
ECOWAS thought there were all strong and mighty but had to beg the three countries to come back and lift their sanctions.
Conflict resolution will eventually move more towards dialogue than ultimatums.
