Nigerians will always run with clips; cut and join; copy and paste statements. The next thing is to conjure imaginary figures to defend their half-baked knowledge.

I don't rate any Nigerian politician. (Save Peter Obi who is showing to be the exception so far).

(Would have loved to watch the complete video before making this post. Now I'm also guilty of my first paragraph).

Sentiments aside, that video clip is simply a nuance. But low-IQ people don't even know what nuance entails not to even talk of parsing and understanding it.

From Fubara's statement:

Life is nothing. Which is true.

Why insult, bully, fight, and even try to harm ourselves when our last days are just 6 feet beneath us? Probably, the ground we are fighting each other is the ground where we may be buried.

If you examine life from the past to the present and the future, your struggles are meaningless. Because we will all die someday. Either today or tomorrow.

The sweat we exude to make ends meet, the hurdles we scale to reach our goals, and the blood we bled to make sure we get our desires, which leave a scar on our body as a remembrance, are a total waste of time and energy if you should consider the end of man.

It all ends in nothing. Hence a wise man once said: vanity upon vanity all is vanity.

However, Akpabio is letting the audience understand that though life ends in nothing there is meaning in it. Our struggles aren't entirely meaningless because when we reach our goals and get our desires, we will be happy till the day of our last breath.

Because of the benefits of those struggles, Fubara will kneel and pray to his God to complete his 2 tenures in office. Fubara will not go back home, take his bath, lie on his bed, and wait for his last breath for the sake that "the struggles of life are nothing".

Even Pastor Taiwo still struggles to preach to his members and audience every Sunday even though they already know the end of all men - death. So why does he even bother?

It is the benefits of that struggle that makes life beautiful. That makes life enjoyable. That makes life showcase itself in different styles, shapes, and colors. That makes every individual express themselves in diversified forms and manners.

If Herbert Wigwe should resurrect tomorrow, he will continue his struggle. Because being sluggish or inert or dormant isn't the configuration of men. Even Christ performed many tasks when he was resurrected from the dead. He spoke words. He acted.

It is the benefit of that struggle that makes life easy for those of us behind. The benefit is to make life easier and less stressful as we are in queue to our respective graves.

Just imagine great inventors, scientists, financiers, etc stop at Fubara's thought, we wouldn't have progressed to this stage of civilization and development. Because "what's all the struggling about?"

We Shouldn't struggle and forget the essence of humanity: to love one another in truth and unity. To make an impact in the lives of people we come across. This is the ultimate benefit of the struggle.

Struggle we must. And the benefits we pray to reap before our death.

You just summed it up correctly. Aptly said.

We thought buhari will be the worst president ever until tinubu showed us how good a man buhari is...

We thought Ahmed Lawal will be the worst senate president until akpabio showed up with just 3 trillion budget padding.
If you believe this country will ever get better after 53 years of misrule, then you need to visit a psychiatrist...

Walahi this APC people really carry us one chance.
How they were bold to manipulate the system to get us to this point.

Make these fresh lawyers start petitioning any Representative wey no dey represent well.
Their manipulation mechanism should be infiltrated and dismantled.

How are we and the security forces so docile in this country!

You talk too much. Your write up in itself isnt half bad but the flaw lies solely in your assumption that you know better and you must teach others how to think that comes from a weak flawed thought process.

You are very guilty and it has affected your analysis because I watched each one of them. I know Nigerians can be in a hurry not to read patiently but Nigerians are not stoopeed.

Fubara is the governor and said something simple to remind us about death. People clapped, instead of Akpabio to say something else, he quoted Fubara and started giving a sermon about himself on why we need to struggle. Another pastor came after to respond to both of them and he did it well. His response was strong enough to bring Akpabio back to earth and the response of those at the church should teach him a lesson. Religious leaders have been enablers to the politicians and if they let them keep using places of worship for their rubbish talk, they will get emboldened. There is a place and time for speaking. Akpabio did not need to respond. You don't use the burial of the dead to talk about politics. It was very disrespectful to the family of the deceased. Look at the way the event was organized by the corporate sector and look at the event where politicians were invited and you will see the difference.

People who did not know about Wigwe learned more last week when Sanusi, Dangote, the PA and many others shared their moment with him. The people who are supposed to lead us were given an opportunity to honor the dead and look at the mess they made of it. They don't care about the dead, it is always about them. 3 people in a family died and someone is talking about the struggle as deputy governor and uninspiring comments. Does he think Herbert did not struggle till he died Why will you be talking about yourself at a ceremony when the story has nothing to do with the deceased Why did you even have to respond when Fubara did not call your name You know they say no one is foolish until they start talking.

This burial has shown us where Nigeria's problems are. Our politicians are classless and tasteless. I can watch the service the corporate sector gave over and over again. I can't do much with the ones politicians were invited to.
