This confirms what Ningi said on the floor of the Senate. He said he confronted Akpabio on this discrepancy and Akpabio said the problem was because they didn't have enough time to scrutinise the budget based on how it was presented. Akpabio did not deny this encounter.

Go and ask Abdulmumin Jibrin what budget padding is. When he raised it under Buhari, no one called it northern conspiracy against the south. Why is this one being made a North vs South matter.
