I still don't understand how our politicians find it comfortable to transit from having security at their beck and call to hiding from security.

Something must be wrong with the black man

N84 billion? They will lose the case as usual after wasting time and resources to pursue it.

If you are charging Yahaya Bello to court for N84 billion, how much did Kogi State generate throughout the 8 years he was governor? 😂
I usually think it's intentional
They don't want to win the case. Just catch the headline

And the usual political jobbers in the state will be like "This is an attack on Bello and the people of Kogi. He did not steal and he did very well in the state".

The EFCC is not a serious entity but a toothless body that is used to put the opposition under pressure. They can only prosecute those that do petty crimes.

Nigeria will can never be taken seriously.

We are a fantastically corrupt nation.

The EFCC is not a serious entity but it has managed to get some governors prosecuted and jailed?

Yahaya was a dictator in Kogi State, no one can question him during his tenure.

Never paid full salary to local government and primary school workers till he left office.

Just praying that his stooge called Ododo in Lugard's house shouldn't follow his footsteps. Kogi and bad governance na 5&6
Shouldn't follow his footsteps or be kicked out of the place by the tribunal

I've got only small hope in the tribunal, that's why I said he shouldn't follow his footstep.

In Nigeria if you want to steal you better steal massively other wise you will pay..Just imagine the so called Judge telling them to enjoy their bail till the adjorned date of the next seating. If it were a poor man now the Judge would have said he should be remanded till the adjorned date,SMH..

Yahaya Bello still at large?what a joke of a country..if this shithole of a country was really serious on fighting corruption then there would be no sacred cows such as Yahaya Bello,Gandolar etc.

Looting N 1 Billion per month for 8 years amounts to N 96 Billion. Monthly allocations to Kogi State from the Federal Government is not less than N 2 Billion per month and Yahaya Bello was notorious for owing civil servant salaries. Those civil servant salaries form the largest expense block for the monthly allocations. So it is within reason than he can loot N 84 Billion.

Nothing will still happen because even the so called EFCC is corrupt. How many of the polithiefcians that laundered public fund have prosecuted completely without the case not being swept under the carpet?

Only thing u do is to transfer d naira to his bank. After his cut deducted, it will land in dollars in your foreign destination account.

Bureau de change is their conduit pipe for stealing government monies and should all be closed or made to give daily transactions reports to EFCC to monitor huge financial transactions customers and source of monies.this will help bring down the demand for Dollars and the rate of exchange

I think the panacea to all these problem in Nigeria is to divide the country, and let's everyone rest.
Divided the country? Which part of the country that its politicians are not stealing? Do you think that dividing the country will plug the corrupt hearts from the politicians?

Yes, the country should be divided so that our big brothers (the north and south west) who are dominating political leadership, will be on their own and many people (from the southeast and south-south) who don't have access to steal now, will get access to power and get opportunity to steal.

This allegation looks feeble. The wordings provided an escape route in case the alleged decided to reach a kind of compromise and along with/without the judge involvement the case could easily be turned upside down.
