These people are demanding for the impossibility. Where is the money going to come from?
100k is not bad for minimum wage for now.

You can use salary to get a passive source of income.

Look at Tony Elumelu of UBA, Late Herbert Wigwe of Access bank, Ibukun Awosika of First bank, Okonjo Iweala of Word Trade Organization, and many more.

They are all wealthy!

We are basically saying the same thing.

To build passive income you need money. Money could be gotten from your job.

Smart folks usually save up from their job and build up streams of passive income.

You can't sleep all day or come to work anytime you like without getting issues with your employer. On a job you are basically selling your time.

Passive income doesn't need your time or input which gives you more time.

One more thing is wealth is not measured in cash but in time.

How long can you live on your standard without working?

If one borehole cost N193m then it's not too much to ask for N900,000 as a minimum wage

No one is going to pay #907k minimum wage in Nigeria. Not even in the next 35 years.

Imagine the ripple effects. Inflation will take off like a rocket launched by Spacex.

That's what they don't know.

lol....thats not rich, thats ability to pay your bills, none of that money can buy a plane ticket abroad......none!

We are talking about Nigeria and not abroad.
You can be rich in Nigeria and be regarded as just comfortable in the USA.

Now, I mentioned "relatively".
Assume person A earns 2 million naira monthly and his/her expenses a month is just 450k averagely in a month.
Assume person B earns 2 million naira monthly too and his/her expenses on the average per month is 1.85 million naira.
Over the course of 10 years, all things being equal, person A has higher chance of being regarded as "rich", person B has a higher chance of being regarded as "just able to pay his bills".

Same salary, difference socio-economic status. This is the application of the theory of relativity.

Shut down the House of Reps or Senate to pay civil servants well. However, the civil servants must be given targets and timeframes for reaching certain goals. Nigeria doesn't need two houses - House of Reps and the Senate. That's waste of scarce resources. True talk.

Even 100k will not be effective because it will be drowned in inflation and resultant rise in prices of everything. Regardless, The increase is still better than what is obtainable right now.

Calling fortune 500 is even too far. They are several companies in Nigeria that being CEO or earning salaries there have made a lot of Nigerians rich.
