Of course no sane person needs a soothsayer to know that the executive, legislature and judiciary have all sworn that this nation will ever make progress. Bastard criminals!
The obidient lawmakers there did not even make a difference.

Guess what??.

They'll use the army incident to push this padding aside. Just watch and see how it fizzles out. It was well timed

Some halfwits are here arguing about insertion of additional line of items in the budget while the real issues is that these additions are nothing but a conduit to embezzle public funds.

When will Nigerians learn to tackle real issues and not get caught up in sentiments.

I have the educational system to blame.

Not necessarily the educational system...

It's the rotten fabric of morality in the nation.

Many of us have mastered the art of calling black, white just to cover up for those we supported into office.

Imagine renaming corrupt practices?!! That's the new trend among APC supporters.

I agree with you to a large extend and I think my initial position borders on the fact that our young people do not know how to sieve information properly. I think we have a multifacete problem that ranges from poorly educated to questionable moral upbringing.

I hope this man finishes his tenure. I smell forced resignation but another Yoruba man will takeover . The suffering is not justifiable. Most of those padded billions will look for few dollars at any price further devaluing the Naira. This will continue till This administration is forced out of government.

A review of the budget proposed by President Tinubu and the one eventually passed by the National Assembly show that the allegations of budget padding by Abdul Ningi are largely true.

I agree we had it, over time some have been able to rise above that. The majority have not reeducated themselves and this is one of our greatest undoing.

Nigerians clearly can't and should never rule Nigeria!

Most of us, as a matter of fact, everyone in the circle of leadership, are corrupt and morally rotten.

The party of swindlers and thieves put forward its chief swindler and its chief thief for the presidency.

Wickedness is the nature of Nigerian, who spite the little thief but give great respect to the big thief

A country of thieves

You can say that again!

Again, there is nothing like budget padding.
The senators are just doing their jobs!

It is a huge shame on our country when even journalists don't know the functions of the legislative arm.

It is one thing to oppose certain changes in the budget, it is another to think
it is a crime for senators to alter budgetary provisions.
Talk wit sense plz!

Nobody is questioning dia right to make or amend d budget. The bone of contention is, some of d projects are vague, doesnt have location. The ones wit location, d allocation seem surplus.

Then why the constant use of "budget padding" phrase?

What I expect educated fellows to discuss is the specific issues/budgetary provisions they consider problematic
and not the asinine noise about padding.

How much people have in their bank account and the verified sources they get their money from is one of the top questions that should be on the lips of Apex bank, financial institutions and anti-graft agencies, by these way too proper taxation can be acquired. Holding Bitcoin companies accountable for financial risks and corruptions are examples of way to curp corruption
