K1 De Ultimate Hits Back At Ex Drummer Who Accused Him Of Using Staff As Slaves by Omihanifa: 2:54pm On Mar 18
Nigerian Fuji icon, King Wasiu Ayinde, widely recognized as Kwam1 or K1, has finally responded to the accusations made by his drummer, Kunle Ayanlowo.

In a recent interview, Kunle detailed his experiences working with Kwam1, alleging mistreatment and likening his relatioship to Kwam1 to that between a master and a slave.

He claimed Kwam1 would confiscate their passports when they traveled and even recounted an incident where he was instructed to return home instead of seeking medical attention.

Kunle expressed ongoing health concerns, attributing them to stress from his time with Kwam1, and vowed to hold the singer accountable if anything were to happen to him.

Having served K1 for 32 years, Kunle lamented achieving nothing and living in constant fear, contrasting the public perception of Kwam1 with his behind-the-scenes personality.

This is what former Kwam1 drummer has to say about him.

In response, Kwam1 took to Instagram to rebuke the allegations, urging Kunle to refrain from falsehoods and urging those around him to steer clear of deceitful individuals.

Kwam1 stated that he had been the one to support Kunle when he had nothing and cautioned against associating with dishonesty, asserting it brings no benefit.

In his words, “Lairs and naysayers get away from me, stop lying. Trying to damage the reputation that raised you when you were a nobody. Disassociate from liars, you have nothing to gain from them”.

Just check the life of his band boys and other staffs who have spent 10 years and above with him and we'll know if the drummer is lying or not.

Wasiu Ayinde as a person ,a terrible person .
Wasiu Ayinde as a fuji musician, he's God sent .
Make sure you differentiate his music and his character . Do not use his character to judge his music, they're two different things.

To the Drumner, Did he paid you for your work? If yes he owes you nothing, if no then you have a case.
You see that mentality that he must help you , Alaye na nig mistake you dey make .
He owe you that not, if it happened fine, if not nothing ,life goes on.
Agreement is Agreement, if you get jare, e good, if not no complain.

There is no way someone will stick around with a bad person for 32 years. During that period, I heard the man got married and trained ALL his children in school.

If someone worked with you for over 30 years and you claim you are still supporting them then something is fundamentally wrong

It shows after serving for 30 (his entire productive years) he still can't stand on his own, but over that period oga has gone to have a million and one mansion, hotels, wife's, cars and all great things of life

Then it's not wrong to accuse the boss of slavery
