Abuja has virtually become one of the states in Nigeria by the way it is being administered now.

The constitution should be amended to allow Abuja to be governed by an elected Mayor rather than a Minister appointed by the President.

The political parties can go further to compulsorily zone their candidates for Mayor in such a way that if the North produces the President, the Mayor of Abuja should come from the South and vice versa.

This will reduce the sense of loss from the region that didn't produce the President.

But most importantly the Mayor seat will serve as a breeding and testing ground for potential future Presidents. Any Mayor that performs so well will naturally have a head start in future contests for the Presidency.

If you live in Abuja, you will bear witness to the drastic transformation Wike has brought in less than 8 months. He has already surpassed 8 years of Mohammed Bello, the immediate past minister. I don't like him, but you can't take the achievement of so much in such a small time away from him.

Wike love attention and camera ehn but he's doing well, all unnecessary expenses should be cut off and channel on social investment and incentive for vulnerable Nigerians

When the majority of poor people in this country don't have any reason to be hungry then we are pushing ahead, we can't be called a developing nation when average Nigerians can't eat 3 square meal every day

But he's a minister, he shouldn't be doing "paparazzi" all over, like he did in Rivers.

Chief of Staff to the FCT Minister, Chairman, and members of the FCT Civil Service Commission, Coordinators of the Abuja Infrastructure Investment Center and Abuja Metropolitan Management Council as well as FCTA Head of Service and 10 Permanent Secretaries were sworn into office on Monday, 18th March, 2024.

FCT Minister, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike charged them on the need for hard work, teamwork, and loyalty.

Some of the pictures facial expression just dey make me laugh.
