Can we be reasonable for once not everything is about politics. Let's always stand by the truth if we really want development for the country. I travelled to the north few weeks ago like no light, no development at all. I really feel sorry for the poor Nigerians they are going through hell on earth I wish we can all stop being heartless and lift each other up instead of bringing ourselves down for this hyenas called polithivecians

Tinubu is finally fufilling his promises. This was one of the palliatives he rolled out last year.
We don't want a government of palliatives , Nigerians are not beggers.

Is the Garri, yam, beans and many other food items not produced in Nigeria? Are their prices affordable to the low income earner. Mr Tinibu and virtually all our leaders are not in touch with the reality of situation on ground. And those around him are not telling him either.

We want to communicate very clearly to our people, that there has never been a more important time in our history to actively agree together that we will patronize and purchase made-in-Nigeria products across all value chains across all sectors.

God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬 forever 🙏

Angelfrost:

There are over 200 Million Nigerians living in Nigeria...

How many of them can afford foreign products when there are direct cheaper local alternatives?!

That means the issue is not unwillingness of Nigerians to patronize local products... But, a case of poor industrialization in the country.
Hmmmm, this is deep!
You are absolutely right with this Angel.
We think about this most times that how could locally produced rice be more expensive than foreign rice?!
It truly doesn't make sense.
So, it still falls back on the government and not the masses.
Thumbs up man 👍

That is just the honest truth so that our naira can continue to appreciate against the US dollars, but then our local manufacturer too should give us quality products so that we can continue to patronize them, lastly the 75b should not be giving to family member or it should not be an audio.
This is not about quality yet, when China started the produce phones that are below what others make, but we patronize them and they dump their products in Africa.
Today look at china

You're an illiterate, that's why you don't understand the meaning of palliative. If 75billion to manufacturers is begging, then you don't deserve to live among humans.

Tell your sons and friends too when they loot no need taking it outside via forex channel. Build local hotels, hostels, businesses and carry local babes to pounded yam spot instead of Chinese restaurants. Do local braids instead of bone straight. Take pap and garri instead of imported wheat made bread and sugar. Concoction in place of tablets.

Meanwhile, same Tinubu goes to seek foreign healthcare in France and most of the best hospitals in the world. These senseless leaders do value their citizens.

They keep "approving" billions for ghost projects . "Approved billions" that go straight into their personal bank accounts thinking Nigerians are dumb. God dey.

True talk bros. Whatever decision you take as a leader must favour some and displease some.

But we are talking about nigeria here.

Any decision that needs to be taken to make nigeria great will always have my support. I don't fucking care who's toes get CRUSHED.

Now I am very convinced that President Tinubu is towing the tracks for Nigeria's growth and development. He is on point with the steps and timing. I was expecting this before the Student loan commencement and now it is.

Guy why you dey talk like mumuni?

No any country in the world depends on only local products for it sustenance without any import. Or patronise only local business while ignoring others because they are foreign.

Thnking that way is nothing but utmost stupidity.

Are you not aware that some plastic surgeries done on americans are usually done for them in other countries? Don't they have plastic surgeons there in america?

The most important thing is balance. Don't import or export too much.

Keep deceiving yourself. "Wishes to develop Nigeria" indeed.

"GHOST" approvals and "GHOST" palliatives upandan. Billions that are going straight to Personal Bank Accounts. May Nigerians have sense.

Hmmm
What is the quality level of the local goods?
Are the goods accessible and affordable?

It's not about providing 75b for manufacturers....do they have access to constant electricity, unified tax, reduced transport cost, easy access to FX and a secured environment?

Without a conducive environment for businesses to thrive,no one can afford locally made goods!

Precisely... It has to be a concerted effort between the government and the people to change the narrative.

The leaders must be fully ready to roll out policies that will increase local production and patronage.

The issue of insecurity must be permanently nipped to sort out the food crisis once and for all.

Economic saboteurs must be brought to book.
