This is rubbish by Nigerian military. They should rather declare a manhunt against the assailant while safeguarding the innocent villagers or at best deploy a rescue team to extract the soft targets not shoot at armless civilians in the name of revenge.

After all, we know how many soldiers have been killed in the fight against terrorists in the northeast the past 10yrs

But when Isreal was bombing every inch of Gaza just because of the sins of a few hamas insurgents you were happy and labeled innocent children and women terrorists. Now the table has turned you want the army to safeguard innocent. Innocent kee hypocrites there

Same method used in the past and soldiers are still been killed...!! That should tell them that method doesn't work bit rather creat mlee enemies for them...!! You can't come and kill my siblings burn down my village and I would forgive you...!! The villagers would always be on ground cos its their territory but the soldiers would grow weary over time...!!!

Simple advise, soldiers should stop any illegal dealings and stop taking side when it comes to communal clash.. earlier before the soldiers were killed they the soldiers came to capture 3 youths from the community and slaughter them all by directive of another influential thug from the other community as per eye witness story..!!

It's going to be an an endless circle of violence if the army don't handle the situation well and properly...!!!
