Bought the car Nigeria used last year, and since then the car have been having several faults and problems.

First it was steering problems. I took to a mechanic he said it was steering rack. I bought a new one, serviced the car, bought power steering oil. The steering became soft but started leaking power steering oil. Changed the hose severally . It will stop and starts leaking again.

Called another mechanic, bought hoses to fix it. The leaking stopped but the oil started stirring up once the car starts, and the steering starts making noise when you turn the steering.

The car drinks lots of petrol and doesn’t run as it should. We have serviced the nozzle, ejector, and filter. It helps after doing these things but still when on the highway once it gets to 120 speed it slows down as if it looses power.

Honestly, the mecahics that have checked are doing guess work and still haven’t fixed the problems dealing with the car.

Will suggest you scan the SUV to know the problems dont allow your mechanic to continue doing trial and error.

Shit 🤦‍♂️, should have changed ur steering pump along with the rack. Also check gear oil, and it’s a v8, it’s meant to suck fuel normally but if it’s too much. Possibly exhaust catalyst missing

It doesn't have Catalyst
My car has Catalyst and some bad spark plugs which are already pinging the top cylinder,might change them by Tuesday.but even at that 10 litres of fuel can take me at least 23km,if I drive moderate.if I hard down.at most 18km before it stalls. Your naija car has bad plugs,no Catalyst,bad sensors,coils fuel pump,dirty nozzles,etc.v8 doesn't consume as much as v6 on highway.

I have changed the 8 plugs. Bought brand new.

Buy toks steering pump.45k. Stalling probably the coils and wires are bad. Stalling as per at a stop ,or when u apply brakes or when u turn on AC. I suspect your speed senssors are bad,replace them. Also have u checked the plugs.some of those plugs are dead on arrival,buying new plug is a waste of money because they will be fake. U bought car and have started spending money on parts u dont need.
