HOPES HIGH, CHANTS OF JOY FILL THE AIR AS SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH GIFTS TRICYCLES, MOTORCYCLES, GRINDING MACHINES, SEWING MACHINES AND BAGS OF RICE TO APC, YPP AND IFEANYI UBAH FOUNDATION EXECUTIVES

In furtherance of his empowerment programme, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, CON on Sunday, March 24, 2024, distributed tricycles, motorcycles, Grinding Machines, Sewing Machines and bags of rice to the executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), his former party, the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation (IUF).

Speaking briefly at the event which took place at the Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi, Senator Ubah said that he decided to appreciate the APC, YPP and IUF leaders for their continuous support.

Senator Ubah who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah to the event also disclosed that the empowerment of the party faithful and IUF leaders was funded from his private purse through the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation unlike like the one that was held the previous day that was facilitated by his office. He further said that even though he is no longer a member of the YPP, the empowerment of their officials was necessary because his recent political journey at the Nigerian Senate would not have been possible without the party.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, Chief Vin Onyeka appreciated Senator Ubah for his benevolence and prayed for more success upon his political endeavours.

Highlights of the event included the distribution of Tricycles to all local government Chairmen of APC in Anambra State, thirty-seven big electric generators to members of the party’s executive, twenty-one big generators to all the Zonal Officers of the party, twenty-one big generators to all the party’s youth leaders in the state, twenty-one Grinding and Sewing Machines to all the Local Government Woman Leaders, a shuttle bus to the Deputy Youth Leader of the party in the state and bags of rice to all the executive members of the party.

Also distributed were seven tricycles to all the Chairmen of the YPP in the seven local government areas of Anambra South Senatorial District, seven motorcycles to the seven Local Government Secretaries of the party, seven motorcycles to all the secretaries of the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, seven motorcycles to the leaders of Chairmen of YPP and seven motorcycles to the Woman Leaders of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation in the Senatorial District.
