A man whose activities can wreck Nigeria's economy was kept under house arrest. MNK who asked for secession of his ethnic group from Nigeria is framed up with all sorts of charges and kept in a maximum security DSS custody. Why? If Kalu succeeds in breaking away Biafra from Nigeria, the rest of the oil producing areas in the Niger delta region will also secede from Nigeria.

Hope you know he is a billionaire. He might even use/rent Tinubu's private jet to go straight to his penthouse (with police escort down to the airport). Why they knew custom stamped his Kenyan passport.

“The suspect escaped while under a 14-day remand order by a court in Nigeria. He was scheduled to appear before the court again

Where are those naysayers and unpatriotic elements saying he will not get a red notice?
He is done for! Fugitive on the run. He was first unfortunate to work for a criminal organisation involved in money laundering and financing terrorism now unfortunate to become a fugitive on the run and on interpol list.

Mallam Ribadu will smoke him out and squeeze those involved until they sing like canary.

Make belief. Chasing shadows as usual. When will you ever embrace the reality in Nigeria?

Government propaganda agent. You'll see the negative impact of defending Tinubu on your life and business in due time.

The UK and US are waiting for Nigeria government to Bleep up properly before they step in.

Nigerian government kidnapped Binance executives and you're here clapping for Tinubu and Cardoso and Ribadu. Wait till a court case is instituted against Ribadu and Cardoso in international court for violation of international human rights.

I use Binance to buy and sell small small amounts of crypto. I know people use this platform to launder money big time.

You will see P2P traders who only buy USDT, they never sell, they only buy. And some of them, the minimum they buy is 20m worth of USDT.

If you now look further, you will see their trading volume is very high. Many of them having 20,000 trades and above, buying 20m, 30m worth of crypto at a go, storing up millions of dollars every fvcking day.

Binance has done more harm.
poor you......if government is competent why not just crashed the price and punish them for hoarding, binnance is not responsible for dollar rise, try educate yourself small, thy don't deal with physical dollar.

Things you considered impossible to happened in other countries are possible with a snap of a finger in Nigeria.

Nigeria is a very pathetic country...

This is not a first timer, Alamesia eloped to Nigeria from the UK authorities by dressing lik a woman, A Nissan boss also fled Japan during his detention by the country on the presidents order to Palestine.

This kind of things does not break a country or mean it’s so so terrible. It’s bad but it’s not imposible. I just pity this runaway man. Nig through the FIRS has claimed Binance has broken Tax law in Nigeria. So apart from the problem he has with the NSA he also now have FIRS case to contend plus interpol manhunt. He’s gonna have to keep run n watching his back for lifeeee.. Binance is already moving into their twilight. US just sanctions then wit tax refund of 4.5million plus add that to what Nigeria is gonna demand. No country will be giving them serious consideration moving forward! Nigeria has set the table for Binance to destroy herself!

I douth ur assertion sir, Nig through the FIRS has also claimed Tax laws have been broken in Nigeria and was only await Ribadu n NSA to chop well before they begin their own prosecution. Who knows how much $$$ Binance will be required to refund FIRS. Binance is done for and considering that interpol is now involved with manhunt for their exe. No country will take them seriously again. Nigeria might have fired the bullet that’s going to bleed that company to ultimate death!

The journalist and the editor who wrote and published this story should be fired and barred from writing or publishing.

The entire 40 sentences in the story is just repetition of about 5 or 6 sentences.

It's okay to be stupid. Displaying it in public through nonsensical writeup and propaganda is where the problem is.

Your useless government has no shred of evidence that Binance did any wrong.

If you don't understand what is happening, ask yourself this; will séun the owner of Nairaland be held responsible for what you say or do on Nairaland simply because he's the owner of Nairaland?

If you don't know the answer, scroll down to the bottom of your nl homepage and read what's written there.

Same thing applies to Binance. Users are responsible for their actions on Binance. If their behaviour or actions violate any law then the individual is held responsible to the extent of the damage done.

But your useless government kidnapped two foreigners whom they invited for discussions.

Your useless government is now looking for evidence to use against Binance by holding the US and UK citizen as hostage to demand evidence from Binance.

The same thing they did to Nnanmdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho. No evidence to prosecute them so they kidnap them and lock them in jail and get corrupt judges to issue rulings in their favour.

In all this, many of you with underutilized brain cells conveniently forget that Binance has been helping Nigerian government agencies like EFCC and NPF to combat crime and giving them free education and training and equipments related to blockchain technology.

Instead of your useless government to create a conducive environment for negotiation and dialogue to see how to formulate regulation and policy to guide and encourage crypto development in Nigeria, your useless government is using illegal strong arm tactics to intimidate Binance with the ultimate aim of discouraging blockchain technology and crypto development in Nigeria so that youths can remain enslaved and controllable under poverty and unemployment.

Open your brain and think for yourself.

Again, it's okay to be stupid but it's best to hide it

The Binance fugitive is more like an errands boy employee of CZ now turned into a pawn, Ghosn was the Godfather himself and if you know him I shouldn't need to explain this to you.

Go and read up on Ghosn and how currently still powerful he is today even in the country he's domiciled. Ghosn still held an interview on Aljazeera few months back, find that interview and listen to him wink

This crime should attract a death sentence on conviction.

At least one person has been reported to have committed suicide on nairaland here due to the unbearable and sudden change in the economic fortunes of the Nigerian public.

Till today prices are still rising for basic necessities to sustain life

Our leaders are not only our problem. The common man is also a problem.
You don't expect Tinubu to be the one securing the arrested personnel. This is a high profile case, the people who let this happen should lose their jobs and be thrown in jail, for aiding the escape and breach of court order.
