The news of the emergence of 44 year old Bassirou Diomaye Faye as the President-Elect of Senegal in the country’s just concluded elections has been everywhere on both social and mainstream media.

But conspicuously, neither the Nigerian government nor its president, Tinubu, has said a word to the winner nearly 48hrs later.

This is an election that has been hailed as one of the best in recent times with citizens of Senegal pouring to the streets to celebrate their new leader in happiness and joy.

Why is Tinubu and his government mum?

Is he scared the result of the election would embolden Nigerian youths the more?

Or he just has an aversion for a properly conducted election that reflects the will of the people?

Tinubu is averse to a free, fair, and credible electoral process.

The president-elect of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, didn't grab it, snatch it, and run away with it.

Congratulatory message can be sent through a phone call.

How do you know that hasn't happened.

A public message can still happen. If it doesn't, it won't be the end of the world.

And what is so special about a 44 year old becoming a President. Does age guarantee success.

Macron is young, but the French economy is in the pits with the highest debt to Gdp ratio amongst Europe's biggest economies. Rishi Sunak of the UK is young, what has he achieved.

Mr Yaya Bello was a young governor, did he set the world alight with his performance?

Would his congratulatory message put food on Nigerians or Senegalese table?

Why do you guys always find fault where there shouldn't have been one.

Is it to seek unnecessary attention?

Has nuclear reactor,Obi congratulates the new elected president in Senegal?

Btw, is public congratulations message a must, how about private phone call?

When you lots were celebrating Rishi Sunak congratulating Tinubu after Mahmood Yakubu-ed the election for him, was it because it would put food on your table?

So you keep track of who Tinubu felicitates with and who he didn't? Is that not the height of uselessness and unproductive? Go find work abeg and keep yourself busy with something meaningful.

Why is Tinubu angry that the election in Senegal was properly conducted and reflected the will of the people of Senegal?

Why?

What about that young girl that was made Minister of something, and within a few days she was videoed sharing dollars to her friends, and taking selfies with dollars?

This our young generation could be worse than the current leaders.
