PDP Appoints Caretaker Committees for State, LG, Ward Chapters

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) pursuant to the provisions of Section 29 (2) (b) of the Constitution of our Party on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC), approved the appointment of the Executives whose tenures have expired in some State, Local Government and Ward chapters to serve as Caretaker Committees in the affected States, LGAs and Wards respectively.

The Caretaker Committees have been mandated to run the affairs of our Party at their appropriate levels for a period of 3 (three) months as follows:

1. ABIA - LGA: With effect from March 22, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 15, 2024

2. AKWA IBOM - LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024 ; Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

3. BAUCHI - LGA: With effect from March 22, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 14, 2024

4. BAYELSA - State: With effect from March 23, 2024; LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

5. BENUE- LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

6. CROSS RIVER - LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

7. DELTA- LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

8. EKITI - Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

9. ENUGU - LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 14, 2024

10. GOMBE- State: With effect from March 23, 2024; LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 14, 2024

11. IMO - LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 14, 2024

12. JIGAWA- Ward: With effect from March 16, 2024

13. KADUNA. - Ward: With effect from March 14, 2024

14. NIGER. - Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

15. ONDO - LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

16. PLATEAU - LGA: With effect from March 23, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

17. RIVERS- State: With effect from March 21, 2024; LGA: With effect from March 18, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 14, 2024

18. SOKOTO- Ward: With effect from March 16, 2024

19. TARABA- Ward: With effect from March 14, 2024

20. FCT- LGA: With effect from March 21, 2024; Ward: With effect from March 7, 2024

The NWC states that in situations where vacancies occurred in the respective Excos due to death, defection and/or resignation, no replacement should be effected for such vacancies in the Caretakers Committees.

The NWC charges all leaders, critical stakeholders and members of our great Party to continue to work together to ensure the stability, growth and success of our Party in their respective States, Local Government Areas and Wards.

Those people following Sim, calling themselves PDP or APC leaders in Rivers State doesn't have what it takes to fight Wike

They're people who as lost relevance in the state when Wike was a sitting Governor

Sim should understand that fighting men like Wike goes beyond Money

Wike have come through for so many PDP/APC leaders in one point or the other in terms of need and also at the National level

PDP Governors/leaders still need Wike for survive, they need one of their own to be closer to sit of power

Forget about what you read about him in the front of news paper, Wike is a good man and he command respect among people that matters.

Confusion!

A Programme of event of a Rivers PDP function...

They put President Bola Tinubu image, who is of APC.

They put Nyesome Wike image, who is an associate of APC.

They put Speaker Martin Amaewhule image, who is of APC.

No image of PDP Acting National Chairman.

No image of Governor Siminalayi Fubara who is of PDP.

Unfortunately, PDP NWC just apointed them as Caretaker Committee Executives for three month after the end of their tenure.

This is confusingly confusing?

Wike is no longer the governor, at time goes on those cheering him will switch to Fubara.
