All of this is happening because we have a pseudo-federal system of government. I don't know of any nation in the entire universe that operates the type of federalism that Nigeria operates. This, in itself, is fraud. People are taking advantage of this loophole (fraudulent constitution) and basking in the notion that "anyone who can, should" partake in the glaring fraud.

Seriake Dickson has been Governor, senator and AG of Bayelsa state, yet he is blaming Lagos and Abuja for the corruption and incompetence in the ND.


Senator Seriake Dickson representing Bayelsa West said some very important personalities (VIPs) from Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, are behind oil theft in Niger Delta.

He said, “People from Abuja and Lagos are the masterminds and the official system is not ignorant and not innocent. The official security system, the official oil system, the official federal system, all of it in its entirety. It’s a powerful system.

He's just reiterating what had been said times without number and what most people from the south especially East know. Maazi Kanu has said it several times that what keeps the country together is the Niger Delta oil and nothing more let alone love or any real desire to unite.

Reason why most yorubas and Hausas get pained at the mention of Biafra which signifies a call for the exit of an ethnic group that doesn't concern them. The oil is more of a curse than blessings because it's what has stopped healthy competition for growth amongst the tribes in Nigeria

Go to Sapele road before mercy city Delta State n u will see the amount oil bunkering taking place, they cross the product in gallons n load them in a trailer going to the north. Who's in charge of that area? The military is in charge of that area.

May this oil that has sucked the blood of many innocent Nigerians suddenly finish. Let it be so for like 10 years. When the free and stolen money oil are no more, the citizens, states and FG will be forced to think outside the box and also be judicious in the use of available hard-earned revenue.
When it suddenly finishes, the true Nigerians and Nigeria will resurface since many will agitate for their country or join an existing country in the face of no more free and stolen public wealths from oil
