How will he achieve this. The President has lot some of his base in the North, some as a result of estranged politicians that didn't get appointments they wanted, others as a result of economica downturn, as it is now Tinubu needs small thing out of Rivers and Kano votes, he's doing all he can now to be on the same page with Governors of Rivers and Kano. The president sold Amaechi out to align with Wike for the election, he will do same to Wike in 2027.

If am the incumbent governor, I will cancel any pension for for past governors, he should do this to show he is serious.

Amaechi was a staunch supporter of Buhari not necessarily APC.. Tinubu and Amaechi have been loggerheads even as members of same party. You can’t say Tinubu sold Amaechi out!
