Tbh, this crooked-looking road looks like something from a "Mighty Mouse" cartoon scene on TV from back in the 1980s.

The Governor of that state should NEVER be associated with this kinda road and there MUST be state-wide standards in road construction given to credible contractors.

The contractor that constructed this cartoonish road has to account for how he spent the funds to construct a substandard road like this as of 2024 and get punished for it!

So a short road of approx one quarter of a mile is being used to flex and road sef looks to have been built by a bunch of local day labourers.

But let's be grateful for it is better than no road at all.

Indeed @AngelicBeing, it's good to know that you remember "The Adventures of Mighty Mouse" cartoon series from the early 1980s which was popular... even before Voltron and other cartoon series with more advanced animation appeared on the TV screens.

Cheers!

The unfortunate fact is the Governor awarded and is aware of the Cobra called road. The government media is even proud to post it online. My opinion is if in 2024 we still have a government which derives joy in constructing semi-substandard road and publish it online as an achievement, that means our process of choosing leaders in this country is fundamentally wrong. Something is seriously wrong with us. With Nigerians.

Governor Abdulrazaq really started well in his first term. I wonder what happened to him.. I guess it's the normal Nigerian leadership factors..πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

Even if this is a village road, at least it should be done well so that it would stand the test of time.. that thing they are doing in the photo won't last the next rainy season...

He didn't start well, there have been constant tension between Fulani Emirate and indigenous people in the state since he came in. He is a failure

Those that voted PDP out in the state are now regretting

Looks so substandard from the pic. When you give Suleiman the bricklayer turned engineer road to construct, this is the end result.
