Was Cross River not also a former capital? Does Abuja generate as much as Lagos?

And it is convenient as you have ruled out Oyo State which is the state that is the most beneficial of the ripple on effects of Lagos State.

I don't do this party or tribal nonsense with you guys, I speak based on reality. Most south Eastern and South Southern states get more allocation than Lagos can you without sentiments confidently say that development in those states is proportional to the allocations they get?

Remove your hate taint glass and you will see clearly.

Good day.
I'm not making excuses for the failure of South South states especially but your claim on Lagos is totally wrong. Lagos apart from being a federal capital with structure and presence bequeathed it by the federal power controls about 60% of revenue meant for the rest of the states in terms of commerce. It is no wonder super-performing govs and politicians of Lagos get to the centre and start to fumble badly. It is because the enormous resources which are available in Lagos are no longer there. At the federal level, you see so many parastatals and ministry jostling for the federal money among themselves.
Nigeria's FG is too large. But not only that, a lot of states are not productive, not because they do not have the means but because they are constrained by the structure. Look at Kd for example. After all the hype by El-Rufai, it emerges just less than a year after he left office that the state is wallowing in debt and can barely pay salaries!!

I wonder why we are here making noise instead of on the street tearing the government down, these guys are going to far, u don't know tinubu administration,
We need to do something about these people,
Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco citizens did it and they succeeded ,
Until tinubu salary is reduced to 50k per month, then I will believe the government is doing well for us

See this unserious governors. They have concluded plans? when was the new electricity act passed?

If you have just concluded with your plans, then how many years would you take to execute those plans?

Wondering when Nigerians would start questioning their state governors same way they have been doing to FG, all this governors are just like P in Psychology

when they suffer properly
