Fresh from hosting the Muslim community in Akwa Ibom State at Iftar, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has joined other leaders in felicitating Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno, felicitated the Muslim faithful for “the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. Ramadan is a period of sacrifice, sober reflection and the strengthening of faith and fidelity to God.

“On behalf of the Government and people of our dear State, I join our President and Commander- In- Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and indeed the entire Muslim world in celebrating the Eid-el-Fitr

“This is a time for sacrifice, hope and renewal as represented in the Ramadan fast. We will surely and certainly overcome our current economic challenges and emerge as a strong and prosperous Nation, united by love, shared prosperity, political and religious tolerance.

“We should all rally behind our President as he works hard to take us out of our current situation and position us for growth, expansion and equal opportunity for all!

“I wish our Muslim faithful a happy Eid-el-Fitr”!
