Muslims who are financially capable pay 2.5 % of their income to take care of the poor and needy! They call it Zakat and is similar to Tithe! The money is not devoted to Mosque building , buying cars or Jets for the Imam but strictly for the poor and needy! Let us all learn from our Muslim brethren on the need to take care of the needy and the poor around us. Jesus said if we take care of these poor and vulnerable people , we have taken care of him !
