Nwoko Secures Release Of Suspect Who Can Manufacture Drones, Modify AK-47 by Morbeta11(m): 11:46pm On Apr 15

SENATOR Ned Nwoko representing Delta North senatorial district, Delta State, has secured the release of four family members the Army arrested for fabricating weapons at Onicha-Olona community in the state.

The major suspect reportedly has the ability to build drones, and modify Ak-47 rifle designed to hold 30 rounds to 60 rounds, which attracted Senator Nwoko.

His desire was for the nation to provide support and develop the skills of such talented persons, and he plans moving a bill for a law to recognise and build such talents nationwide.

Nwoko, in a statement, said: “ Following my recent visit to Headquarters, 63 Brigade, Asaba, and productive discussions with the Brigade Commander, I am pleased to announce progress in addressing the situation regarding the illegal arms factory discovered in Onicha-Olona community, Delta State.

“Efforts have been made to ensure fair treatment for those involved, balancing justice with the opportunity for rehabilitation and contribution to society.

“I am pleased to reveal that through collaborative efforts, I have successfully secured the release of four family members implicated in the illegal activity.

“However, our commitment to upholding the law remains unwavering, and endeavours continue for fair judgment and potential pardon for the remaining four individuals.

“Moreover, the underlying issue highlighted by this discovery remains of paramount importance.

“We must seize the opportunity to redirect the talents demonstrated by those involved towards lawful and productive endeavours.”

As risky as it sounds, we can't keep jailing our talented citizens. The problem is that we do not have the right atmosphere to make them utilize their skills positively.
.
For a country facing serious security crisis, it is time we bring in talent developers, psychologists and experts to help guide these set of talented individuals in a way that their talents will start becoming more useful and productive.

The Nigerian army arrested an illegal gun maker, a senator went to release him. Smh

When are we going to be serious as a country, what contribution does an illegal gun maker add to the society if not making guns for armed robbers, kidnappers and cultist who will then go out to rob and kill innocent citizens.

And those ignorant ones saying that america developed because they love talented people.

Go to America and start making guns, if you wont spend all your life in prison.

Is that his job in the senate? That is how these politicians keep interfering with the work of law enforcement agencies to release criminals. Anyone with a little influence will walk into a police station to release criminals that will continue killing and terrorizing people.

There is no way to "modify" an AK 47 rifle's magazine to boost ammunition capacity from 30 to 60 rounds, OTHER THAN to buy, or copy, the readily available clip sold online that holds two AK mags with a slight offset at each end to facilitate insertion into the weapon's lower receiver. The gun makers in Delta State merely fabricated DIY versions of the double mag adapters shown in these images.

If Ted Nwoko wants to meet Nigeria's true Big Kahoonas of semi-automatic pistol fabrication starting with sheet metal, he should contact the Benue State Prison Service which can grant access to the master gunsmiths recently captured in Benue State, whose highly accurate replicas of American and Italian semi-auto handguns rival those crafted by skilled artisans using primitive tools in the forests of Mindinao, Philipines and the badlands of Afghanistan's Peshawar Valley.

The standardized metal templates that are used to ensure precise dimensional accuracy for these guns make possible the creation of fully operational rapid-fire semi-auto pistols that are virtually identical to anything produced by Baretta or Smith and Wesson, with the exception that the Nigerian-made versions might not bear any engraved serial numbers.

Those gunsmiths caught in Benue State are the real deal so Ted Nwoko should look them up and put them to work.
