Nigerian online payment processor OnlineNaira is to stop processing and accepting paypal payments for Nigerians with effect from Dec 1, 2011 according to a statement from them. The reasons for suspending the one aspect of their operations which has helped several Nigerians overcome challenges associated with accepting Paypal payments online are not yet clear.

Got info from someone yesterday that a Registered Nigerian Company with site www.affordpay.com enables merchant to accept paypal and credit card payment. Problem is I can't find anyone that has used their service before.

Has anyone ever tried them and what are the possible issues?

1. Try them, make u come tell us how far.

2. If in doubt, try 2co.com

Well Affordpay is not bad though they will required you to verify your account just with a valid ID and Utility bill before you can withdraw to your bank account.

I decided to use their referal program to earn cash so I couldĀ  test their withdrawal system instead of funding. I finally got to $30 which is the minimum referal payout. They pay naira equivalent @ 154 to 1 affordpay dollar + N100 withdrawal charge (which is not included in their charges page)

paypal is not auto configured to their system. They only give you information on "How to accept Paypal" to verified users.

THEIR RULES - NO WITHDRAWAL FOR UNVERIFIED MEMBERS

Thanks for the feedback. Highly unusual on here.

Are you sticking with them or switching to 2co?

OnlineNaira accepts PayPal payments for Nigerians, but the money must come from a credible merchant. See all the details here - http://www.onlinenaira.com/pes.htm.
