A law graduate from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Anyim Veronica, has been offered a plot of land by a real estate company.

This was revealed on Wednesday by hotelier Azubuike Ihemeje, who had promised Veronica an all-inclusive holiday at his resort.

Veronica rose to prominence after a Sunday incident at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, during which the lead pastor,

Azubuike claimed that Veronica would be given the property over the weekend. He posted on Facebook:

That is a very unfair and hypocritical statement to make.

How many people receive plots of land every day just for clout?

All the good things you have received in this life, did you work for them? What of the air you breathe? Or those born into privileged homes?

There will always be room for merit, no doubt, but you can't discountenance the role of unmerited privileges in certain occasions.

Would you hold this same opinion if you were the one receiving the plot of land?

Paul Eneche have tender apology and the lady in question have accepted his apology. The people now jumping on it just to chase clout or get back to the pastor is what I don't understand.
