The rest 20% is Igbos businesses revenue in Lagos

See how you expose your ignorance and senseless reasoning.

Nigerians no go hold their state governors accountable, all blames are only shifted on FG even if there area transformer no dey work
We will continue to hold the FG accountable because they are the ones that are still sustaining this evil system of government.

Let states control their resources and pay tax to the central government. Simple!

Exactly

People think it is that huge a money. But No it isn't. Apart from few states like Lagos and Abuja. The rest will use it to pay salaries with little or nothing else remaining for critical infrastructure and the likes

The best is having true federalism with a percentage being sent to the federal
government.

How much are the state government spending on salary? Even with their excesses. Some state dont spend up to 3BN for salary.
We need states that can stand on their own as they need the money most and not sharing Peanuts every now and then

P.S. I am not saying the Govornors too are not thieves, but most of them have their hands tied already

FAAC allocations, one of the reasons Naira never gets stronger but weaker. If usd gets to 700ngn the govt cannot distribute thi mount of mony. the cycle of naira weakness goes on.

That's about $1 billion to maintain 36 states and FCT made up of over 220 million people. That's peanut! We can do better if these people can diversify the economy and help businesses in the country.

Na you wey no get sense. You run an import-dependent economy, meaning that dollar rate determines the prices of things in Nigeria.

how is import dependant related to what the allocations of governors per month. Or u think that’s a yearly thing . The money is not for importation, it’s spent here if not even embezzled by them at the end of the day .
