Ever come across a website with crazy discounts on things you've ALWAYS wanted? But then a nagging voice asks "Is this website real or a scam?"

Red Flags to Watch Out For
1. Generic Emails: Did you get an unexpected email with a fantastic offer? Check the sender's address! Phishing emails often come from random addresses, not the company they claim to be.
2. Suspicious Links: Don't click on links in emails unless you're 100% sure they're legit. Scammers might send emails with links that take you to fake websites designed to steal your info. If anything looks fishy, report it!

Always Secure Your Transactions
1. Look for the Padlock: Before entering your card details, check the browser bar for a padlock symbol. This indicates a secure website.
2. Check the Website Address: Make sure the web address starts with "https://" instead of just "http://". The "s" means the website is secure for transactions.

Be a Savvy Online Shopper
1. Shop from Trusted Websites: Stick to websites you know and trust. Do your research! Read online reviews before making a purchase.
2. Use Secure Payment Methods: Consider using verified payment platforms or digital wallets for added security.
