you maybe correct but Igbos are there in their numbers working in Oyo, Lagos & Ondo. Promotion is subject to the powers that be. And if it hasn't happened I can happen there too someday.

From Ambode's time, state employment changed to exclusively yorubas.......for lagos ooo...I dnt k ow about other south wester states...other tribe who are already in the civil service arent discharge, they just gave them time to wittle it down till retirement

Ben Akabueze was a commissioner under Fashola from 2007 to 2015 in Lagos state. He got the appointment 17 years ago. That is to tell you that Yoruba did more than what you are saying 17 years ago. Besides, there are more non Yorubas in Lagos state civil service than in eastern state.

Soludo needs to get off that high horse and ask himself too, if he wants to be remembered as the only Gov of that State that denied a his constituents development, because one member of the opposition lived on the street.
