The Executive Committee members of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ganduje Ward of Dawakin Tofa local government area of Kano state have described as impostors, some elements who on Sunday announced the “suspension” of the APC national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The party noted that after a failed attempt to suspend Ganduje, the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP government in Kano state has organized yet another bunch of non-APC members who announced the purported suspension.

A statement issued on Sunday and jointly signed by the chairman and secretary of Ganduje ward in Dawakin, Ahmed Muhammed Ganduje and Usaini Jibrin respectively, indicated that as authentic executive members, no new election was conducted by the state or national body of the APC to herald a fresh leadership.

“To the best of our knowledge, as executive members of Ganduje ward of the APC, there was no new election of new leadership of our party. We remain the same executive of the ward,” the statement added.

It said the sponsored group couldn’t do their homework properly by using a fake or uncertified headed paper on which they drew a list of non existing party executives.

“To worsen their situation, leader of the group who announced the purported suspension is an NNPP member who contested but lost the councilorship election in Ganduje ward”, the statement said.

The executive members therefore called on the national leadership of the party and security agencies to facilitate the arrest and prosecution of the group for impersonation.

They also called on party members to disregard such propaganda aimed at disrupting the peace of the party.

Alhaji Umar Ganduje is a classic example of Shamelessness. Simple !

The optics of his video stuffing Dollars in his Babariga and further confirmation of forensic experts authenticating the video is enough reason for him to resign.

His video optics makes the Tinubu presidency & anti-corruption drive look super-hypocritical. I mean over 100million Nigerians have access to that disgraceful video through social media and YouTube.

Even Emefiele who has been painted like the Devil himself doesn't have such damning evidence against him.

This write-up is purely apolitical but just a moral awakening to the word "Shame".

Ganduje should swallow the bitter pill and resign as his remaining as APC chair further emboldens corruption and dents the optics of the PBAT regime.

It's a shame indeed !
