Emergency cases are not attended to on time.
It's true that many people die avoidable deaths due to delay, negligence and incompetence of health personnels. May Nigeria not happen to us.

Any worker who fail to deliver his or her duties is not worthy of wages or salary. Majority of Nigeria health workers are heartless when it comes to work. They treat patients as common animal. Must of them don’t care about life .

agreed but will burning down the place solve anything? going by your suggestion about the non challant attitude of Nigeria's health workers, this means that no hospital suppose exist as all will have been burnt down for negligence and other issues, then where will you and I access health care?

Her condition is not what school clinic can handle so no need to blame the clinic. Even with the card the clinic cannot solve it. Do they have oxygen in the clinic?

A girl died from the complications of abortion gone wrong and you are trying to blame the school clinic.
You won't report to hospital when having health issues but when it has gone very bad you will rush done to the hospital and be expecting magic.
The best thing any doctor would have done is to evacuate the dead foetus, can that be done under 15minutes?
Does the school clinic have the capacity to handle such emergency?
Can a scan and other tests be ready under 15 minutes?

The staff on duty should have received a query by now and the person that signed that shameful memo that was trying to shift the blame to the lady and her boyfriend ...

They didn't conduct an autopsy but they know what killed the girl...in any case the issue is that the girl could have been saved regardless of what led to the emergency.

Emergency situations should be given priority above usual processes. The school is clearly lying. Heartless people. It will come round to them one day.

And who on earth is still using hotmail for emails, I bet the clinic hasn't checked that their email in ages.

Just try as much as possible to be careful not to get sick and be brought to a Nigerian hospital.

Like several people in other situations have not experienced the same thing. The other time it was an asthmatic student, also one student who was involved in an accident. Let's face the root of the issue which is the nonchalance of medical personnel in Nigeria even in emergency situations, because no one knows who may be next. Hospitals like these need to be heavily sanctioned, that is the only way they can learn. Wicked souls.
