They want us to know that Yahaya Bello was once a saint tongue

Dezani was once a saint in her days in Shell but you know what? You need to be deeply rooted backwards before taking government positions otherwise, characters around you will make you fall yakata.

RETURNING SURPLUS IMF FUNDS DOESN'T MEAN HE IS NOT A THIEF

HE IS NOT A STUPID THIEF, IMF FUNDS ARE A BIG DEAL,

THEY ARE WELL SUPERVISED AND MONITORED, THEY HAVE TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR THOROUGHLY

HE MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN STUPID ENOUGH TO STEAL FROM IMF.

WOULD YOU RATHER STEAL FROM IMF OR STEAL FROM STATE ALLOCATION ?

YAHYA BELLO IS A THIEF AND MONEY LAUNDERER........ THERE IS NO COUNTRY IN THE WORLD YOU CAN GO AND PAY 760,000 THOUSAND DOLLARS. BANKING REGULATIONS SHOULD ALERT FiNCEN AND AML.
HE PROBABLY PAID THAT MONEY IN ADVANCE TO THE SCHOOL, SO THAT HE COULD GET IT BACK FROM THEM,LATER ON IN BITS AS A REFUND.
THE SCHOOL SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AS WELL, YOU CANNOT GO TO HARVARD OR OXFORD AND PAY 760,000 DOLLARS AS ADVANCE PAYMENT.

THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD SEIZE AND LOCK YAHYA BELLO UP, STOP PLAYING WITH THIS SMALL BOY....HE IS NOT ABOVE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

Amidst the the ongoing EFCC saga and media onslaught against the former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, a viral letter shows how the former Governor returned surplus funds to the world bank, to the tune of 4.6million US Dollars.

This amongst other reasons earned the former governor accolades allowing other states opportunities to benefit.

Recall the world bank had on numerous occasions awarded Kogi as number one in multiple awards for transparency and fiscal responsibility.

The question now is, if the governor was this transparent with public funds, what then must have resulted in EFCC’s pursuit and media trial, leaving out other governors who have been previously accused? The personal focus and attack on Yahaya Bello may have a political undertone and an agenda yet to he revealed.

Read the letter the World Bank wrote him below;

July 14 2021
His Excellency
Mr. Yahaya Adoza Bello
Exccutive Governor of Kogi State
Office of the Governor
Government House
Lokoja, Kogi State

It takes only a thief to defend a Thief.... He returned the excess on the loan but converted the main loan for his personal use at the expense of the state.

If he's truly transparent as you have claimed, let him go and defend himself at the office of the EFCC.

You are only saying this as a stunch Bello supporter or do not understand the facts. That money that was returned was meant for a world bank project in Kogi called Staple Crop Processing Zone (SCPZ), a project awarded under the administration of Ichalla Wada, the Kogi Governor before Yahaya Bello, the project was never started, hence the request of the World Bank for the refund.
What was the Bello suppose to do? Swim in the money? Bello is a corrupt entity.

I am not against EFCC prosecuting any former governor who mismanaged state resources. I have only refused to be deceived by EFCC. The same tactics has been adopted by them from time immemorial, so why should I take them seriously? Read the link below, please.

He should present it to the Court for considerations during his trial and sentencing. But he should focus more on explaining to the Court what happened to the monies budgeted for salaries of Kogi State workers that he refused to pay in full and explain how he acquired his many properties and paid US$845,000.00 (Eight Hundred and Forty Five Thousand Dollars) for his kids schools fees ahead up to 2035 and even for a kid yet to get into the school!

This is not sufficient to exonerate him, remember he has aiota of doubt of not returning the funds back to World Bank, but due to fear of global community embarrassment,he forcefully returned the excess..

Didn't you read the first paragraph that said he transferred the surplus to PLATEAU STATE in the letter or you are just trying to miscellaneous by defending a criminal?

The Plateau State governor should be arrested too, that's were both of them shared the surplus, he only had to inform World Bank to look clean....CRIMINALS.

The surplus wasn't transferred to World Bank but to a fellow criminal who shared the money with him...someone stole the future of your children and you are here defending him like an idio.t.

Reno Omokri return the money Yahaha Bello paid to you for this damage control or your children will live with curse on their head.
