With this move say bye Bye to fintech venture capitalists.

Fintechs have brought in over 700 million dollars to the Nigerian economy.
Dem no go rest till we become Sudan.at this rate Togo is better than Nigeria.

Exactly this APC government is hell bent on chasing all the investments and innovations that have any glimmer of moving the country forward

At this pace only God knows what state this country will be by 2031 when bulaba will leave power 🤦‍♂️

Loans create debt and it keeps the economy running because ITS A DEBT- BASED economy

The problem is the created loans isn't matched with creation of local goods so the new money created steals value from the old money already existing making the price of good in the market rise

No!

The price of goods in the market did not rise. It's just the value of money that dropped

Some people are really behind this dollar crisis
So people really don't want to see Nigeria work

So during GEJ there was no enemy of Nigeria??
The very first day the news of “depleted reserves” broke out Naira started falling, that only show what they were doing to bring it down.
Or maybe you saying Tinubu cannot fight enemies of dollars

Someone should tell Tinubu and Cardoso to leave Crypto a d it's traders alone.
You're not exporting anything and importing everything, yet you want the naira to magically appreciate.

Ah, they make it look like they don't trade crypto in other countries, any country serious about it's economy should see crypto as bonus

My question is, did all these things just started when tinubu assume office or what? Because before this new government, it was not as bad as it is right now

And irrelevant. I wasn't asking when crypto was invented. I was asking whether it was a relevant issue to Nigeria under Jonathan. I think the context makes that clear.

You are importing every single thing you use in your country and you export nothing, and you want your economy and currency to grow? Keep joking. The government better face the real issue and fix it instead of misguided chase of crypto exchanges and Fintech banks. The truth is, those crypto boys will always find a way to carry out their business. Nigeria should do what US did with crypto after many years of fighting it with no success. They found a way to tax crypto asset holders. So while the crypto guys are making money, the government is making money from them by the way of taxing , win win situation. Some countries in Africa like have seen this already and they are ridding on the wing of crypto to develope their economy.

and our conversational banks no dey help matters, they're much more interested in deducting #100, #50 from customers account every seconds money enters and left rather than providing good network services.

There's no fraud anywhere. All those trying to pull Opay down will fail woefully. They are just jealous and afraid of Opay with the high rate at which they are growing.
Something tells me these commercial banks have bribed that Cardoso to halt the high rate at which people are opening account with Opay. This ban will not last. Opay has come to stay whether they like it or not..

Amen... Every sane person knows this is the work of commercial banks
