Nigeria Needs Visionary Leadership Like The Uganda's President's by BabbanBura(m): 5:26pm On May 10
The Uganda's president advocates for sustaining growth for Africa and not just aids from western countries that are mere quantities (amount of money) but lacking in quality (real impact).

He highlighted that what Africa needs are aids channeled on Locus that drives continous growth. He highlighted these areas of needs as;

1. Railway lines running across each countries and linking the African continent to aid movement of goods and services

2. Electricity to energise the wheels of manufacturing and production

3. Irrigation to support inadequate rains for agricultural production on commercial scale

4. He refused borrowings for capacity buildings but for projects that positively impacts the money economy. In 2013 68% of Ugandans were outside the money economy (subsidence only without making money for themselves). He sought for aids but was declined, he used $300m of Uganda's fund and now 61% of the citizens are in the money economy up from 32% in 2013. Meaning 61% feed themselves and make money from agricultural production.

5. He set up Youth development bank that supports youths with loans for self sustainability, he sought for funding from these aid people, but was directed to commercial banks - he refused commercial banks because the interests can not support entrepreneurship.

6. His neocolonial civil servants proposed taking loans for import support. The west was willing to provide these loans but the President said, no way! We will not borrow to support import but export. And that is how he shut them up. The CBN governor actually told him that they have gotten import cover, the President asked the governor why not import - export substitution? Or export promotion deals? Why import support? He concluded by saying he wants to export and not to import.

7. He said Uganda is getting rid of all colonial agents on its soil. They are out problem. Africa produces raw materials for the world and gets peanuts in benefits while the west take it rediculously cheap, process it and make multifold profit from it. He said, in Uganda, the value adding to the raw materials like coffee, must take place in Uganda - this enhances the revenue from these products, creates jobs for his people. He cited an example with coffee, that the world annual revenue from coffee is about $460b, out of which Africa that produces the coffee makes only about $2.5b, Uganda makes only $900m from that because they produces the largest amount of coffee in Africa. Germany that buys from Uganda makes $65b from coffee by just processing it and selling

The saddest thing; is that, these countries don't want a developed Africa, therefore they will quickly give aids to support conferences or sharing to people or fund projects that don't have real impacts for the countries' growth. He sought for loans to support his irrigation to enable his people to progress from subsistence farming to commercial production but the west refused and instead directed him to commercial banks. They neocolonial masters won't fund anything that will liberate Africa.

Back to Nigeria's case, please listen to the Video above and answer the questions below;

Who is like this man to move us out of the woods?

Who is that man that will only borrow for production and not for capacity building seminars in big big hotels with loads of contingents?

Where is this leader that will be bold enough to tell the west that we don't need their aids unless they are channeled to real impactful growth locus?

Where is that leader Nigeria needs that will be courageous to damn the west with their exploitative aids?

Where is the leader that will think about the nation, the people above his personal benefits?

Where is the leader that is knowledgeable enough to filter out what is safe and what is harmful to his nation and his people. Where is he who will not be swayed by so called professionals that either don't understand the bad effects of their recommendations or don't mean well for the nation?

Do we have any hope in the current leadership of Nigeria?
