Farooq Kperogi (what sort of name's that anyway) never said Thinubu said.
If you read the passage, he said he believed at the time that it was a freudal slip.
But that now he was starting to think it was not a slip because of the realities of today, where tinubu's policies have crippled the buying power of the masses, and as if that was not enough, he plans to tax them even more.

Anyway, wether Thinubu said so or not, his mandate is a cursed mandate and majority who voted him regret doing so.
