Traditional Uhrobo / Chinua Achebe Igbo Quotes / Proverbs by BASA10: 9:17pm On May 12 |
Greetings, I am a child born outside of my fathers homeland so my understanding of my native language is non existence although I sabi broken. I was looking for a proverb or quote from Chinua Achebe or maybe a strong Uhrobo quote. Ideally it would be in native language not necessarily in English. Do you know where I could find this? |

And where exactly is this your father's homeland? Here's one Igbo proverb Achebe quoted: "Onye ji onye n'ani ji onwe ya" Meaning: "He who will hold another down in the mud must stay in the mud to keep him down." See more below 1 Like
