There's been a toll gate at Abuja airport, to the best of my knowledge since 2012.

However, APC is trying to fool people with this announcement. Every number 1 and his vice never take the regular gate that is tolled, which is normal. They have their designated access except they are telling us they will start using the regular gates which makes no sense security wise.

As for the so called VIPs with their plenty police escorts and other security personnels, I look forward to seeing how this will pan out when the FAAN official at the gates insist they pay.

While i was trying to pay at PHC airport, a VIP convoy came blaring siren for me to leave access road. I jokingly told the lady that i would drive off with the convoy without paying. She threatened to escalate if i try it.

The $2.5 bn or so they borrowed to loot from world bank is not enough to pay for their 2023 general election spending to clinch to power is not enough, not more taxes and looting.
