That same Ibadan is the only city in the South West. I don't want to talk about Lagos that was federal capital of Nigeria for 75 years. Ibadan was capital of the Western for decades and is now capital of Oyo

But SE did not wait for places such as Onitsha, Nnewi or Aba to be capital before developing them

So forget about grabbing capital territories of Ibadan and Lagos as reference points of development. Mention one place in your area that you developed without waiting for it to be made capital, everything is not about waiting for government money. Onitsha, Aba and Nnewi were never capital of anywhere and never waited for government money
Lagos as it's known today was not the capital of Nigeria, only a small portion less than 10% was Nigeria capital..
I hate when people like you try to attribute Lagos development to being Nigeria capital.. Lagos was left to die but it's still thriving.. If you don't know anything, it's better you keep shut instead of writing nonsense online..

This argument is totally flawed, wrong and should be stopped, unless you didn't grow up in Lagos that's why you making such a flawed argument.

LAGOS was more or less FCT ,with seat of government on the island just as we have FCT and Abuja today.

Development was spurred by the fact that Lagos was essentially FCT.

This is just like saying only FCT is the capital of Nigeria alone not the whole Abuja. You're not including other parts of lagos because they were not among the main city then but they're still lagos territory.

Your yoruba version of brain can't let you know that even those rural/reserved area in Abj will develop in short time with the influence of the main town/city whether the Capital is relocated to another state or not.

You guys eh!

There's a regional disease that made you guys to reason upside down.

Those guys are naturally like that.

They always lie and twist everything to make themselves feel good.

Ask them, they will tell you that tinubu made lagos. grin

Because Lagos is a PARASITE feeding on the resources of other part Nigeria. Restructure Nigeria today and Lagos will lose its allure on Nigerians

The simple question is what's stopping other Nigeria states to have economy prowess like Lagos state?

It doesn't matter if it was one street that was designated capital, the surrounding area will benefit from it

Where in you area did you develop with it being near any capital? No where

It all goes to show that you that without government intervention, some people cannot develop anywhere

But the Biafran is one who does not want to be with Yorubas in one country?

Of course, that's the illogical narrative they are propagating, however the same biafrans are all over yorubaland like bees gather around a honeycomb.

Common sense has never been your strength. Are you Nigerians in those places shouting free Nigeria and insulting their hosts?

In Nigeria there are no "hosts", you can't host a person in their own country. If you want to be host , go get Oduduwa Republic first

You're right as those Nigerians went to the places you mentioned, in search of greener pastures. Same way biafrans flocks to yorubaland.

However, you don't hear Nigerians in Europe or similar places wailing everyday that, they do not want to live with the locals.
