East is the only self independent zone in Nigeria without federal presence but still rules. You can now attest to it when they claim marginalization, is real but when you check all states indices: eduction, banking, state and local government roads, urbanization, rural dev, school enrollment and graduation, local small scale industries etc you now can respect SE in peace. A nation where the so called 5% of the population is challenging a whopping 95%? David and Goliath or you say small tiny Israel and the whole Middle East/ Arab world. Respect your SENIOooor

The process for nationwide deployment of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles has commenced.

Not less than 530 buses are to be deployed by the end of the month in six pioneering states.

These are Oyo, Lagos, Kwara, Kogi, Kaduna, Nasarawa, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

Programme Director of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI) Michael Oluwagbemi stated this yesterday.

It was during the event signaling the commencement of 15-day-long activities ahead of the rollout.

He said the distribution is on a demand-led basis. He added that efforts would be accelerated at the conversion of diesel and petrol-fuel engines across the country.

Jagaban said he will not pay subsidy. Nigeria cannot afford it.

#200 per litre is highly unlikely but possible if Dangote refinery, Port Harcourt refinery and other Private refineries flood the Nigerian market with PMS...

Then there would less demand for the PMS that is imported into this country at a huge cost.

What Jagaban and his Jagabandits are trying to do with this CNG initiative is to cushion the effect of the high fuel ⛽ price on the common man by providing these CNG buses for Mass Transit...

Also the Balablu Government is trying to move Nigeria away from the over- reliance on PMS and Diesels, which is commendable.

CNG is far cheaper and environmentally friendly.

They weren't new buses. Don't be in a hurry to defend The colour they're painted with will soon fade. Where were you when the imported used buses first made deadlines?
