This is Etegwe Roundabout in Yenagoa Metropolis Yenagoa is made up of 8 Ijaw Clans. Gbarain, Ekpetiama, Epie, Atissa, Okordia, Zarama and Biseni Clans. Yenagoa Metropolis is only in Epie and Atissa Clans but not even their whole Communities fall in it. Bayelsa have 654 Communities. 649 Communities out of it are under all Ijaw Socio Cultural Organizations. @General Ditari. 1 Like

Yenagoa is supposed to be more beautiful than this but bad leadership wouldn’t allow the state & other Nigerian states to breathe 15 Likes 2 Shares |

The entire yenegoa in one photo. Disgraceful. Who should we blame for our underdevelopment? Definitely not the Igbos. 8 Likes |

meum: That is not true. It's not easy to develop Ijaw terrains. God gave Ijaw Crude Oil as compensation for it's difficult terrains but they take their resources and take Ijaw own too. Bayelsa is as large as 3 Igbo States put together but they Marginalize Ijaws and gave Ijaws just 8 LGAs in Bayelsa and then scatter the rest Ijaws into 5 other States when we are not even scattered naturally. 3 Likes |

If it's bad leadership then why didn't Jonathan show it during his time in Presidency? Was he not also Bayelsa Governor before? They deliberately wicked Bayelsa. Only Southern Ijaw LGA is larger than States in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Nailly:Even if they gave Bayelsa 36 LGAs + State capital Territory it wouldn’t be any different. Isn’t it easier to develop eight than to go look for the other LGAs that aren’t missing? There’s money in BY na chop dem Dey chop am. PH, BY & AK money dey dia 1 Like |

Christistruth00:You see this much talked about highway with railway, they might not complete it in 4 years. Even 8 years, I still doubt. Have you guys considered the total distance? Have you considered the rains. Have you guys considered the terrain? Normally, how long does it take to build a new road down south? Minimum of 1 year right? These roads that take minimum of one year, how many kilometers are these roads? Don’t forget it’s only one contractor handling the entire stretch of the Lag-Cal highway. Also, don’t forget bridges will have to be built. Unless the plan is to connect that highway with the existing expressway, otherwise I don’t see them finishing those number of bridges, road construction with the railway line in the middle within the time frame you guys are throwing around. Like I always say when I hear of such projects, seeing is believing. 1 Like |

2elliot:No! Ijaws should keep on blaming and hating the great Igbos. People like me want it to be so, so that by the time they realized that Igbos are truly not their problem it will be very late. Imagine the people that are fond of robbing their yeye shoulders with the great Igbos, don't even have any tall buildings in their so-called town not to talk of good infrastructure. Their town is not even close to an average village in Igbo land 1 Like |
