A common adage says that a traveller is smarter than an old man in the village who does not travel. In your own case, you have travelled to a couple of countries but don't have common sense.

If you did, you would know that those shithole countries you mentioned are too small to be compete with Nigeria. An economic powerhouse with over 220 million should be competing with airports in South Africa and Egypt...fellow economic powerhouses of the continent

This is a normal thing. In fact wifi should be part of the criteria for a airport. I had used free wifi in Kigali, rwanda airport 9 years ago. Some achievement are not meant to be broadcasted because it does not worth celebrating.
