Say what you like about Davido but you can't deny that he has deep and wide goodwill in high places.

His team sure lacks vital PR skills and he himself has been careless about his image, attitude and utterances, which have led to scandals. But in spite of these shortcomings, he still appear important, influential and likeable beyond the field of music. And it has nothing to do with his background.
